Founder Bernie created the idea over a cup of tea around the kitchen table after re-evaluating her work life and career as a recruiter. With a global pandemic making life more and more difficult within the corporate world, she started her own business journey and came up with Oscar and Tilly – an online shop bringing lovely products for the home to life. Sourcing wonderful items, soft furnishings made in fabulous materials, including a pampering and loungewear range.

After deciding to take the leap in Autumn 2020, she got in touch with Kehorne via a local community Facebook group. A dedicated Project Manager was assigned and a brief was developed to create a premium and stylish Shopify store to showcase Oscar and Tilly’s products.

It was imperative that the theme and design of the store came together to showcase the finest materials and stunning products on offer. Photography on the site needed to convey a special message, based on great quality and skilled craftsmanship.

The Kehorne team worked with Oscar and Tilly to develop their brief and core messaging, recommend a theme and style for the store, add and develop their content and make recommendations on copy and images. Once the store was ready for launch, Kehorne also configured all of the e-commerce features including payments, delivery, marketing and social media integration.

Since launch, a bespoke Gifting section has also been developed, allowing personalised gifts to be created using a gift box builder app within Shopify. Visit www.oscarandtilly.co.uk to see the range of beautiful products available.

Technical Details

The store is built and hosted by Shopify using a domain name acquired by the client. The site uses a bespoke customised theme and is fully responsive for mobile, tablet and desktop. The Gift Box builder was created using a third party app from Box-Up.
