Digital Brand Asset Management system

The brief for this hotel chain was to create a digital brand asset management system which allowed their marketing teams and brand managers to keep all their assets in one, easy to access place.

It needed to be easy to use, easy to streamline and easy to enabling them to seamlessly watch over their marketing messages, ensuring that every member of the distribution chain is well trained about each brand.

The brief for this hotel chain was to create a digital brand asset management system which allowed their marketing teams and brand managers to keep all their assets in one, easy to access place.

With ‘Commercial Toolkit’, the filters are easily customisable and allow the client to sort their assets in a number of ways such as category, asset type, usage, format or audience (and more). Simply add the chosen assets to the basket and download them as a .zip file. Key features include:

  • Built using a content management system that is robust and easy to update
  • Create users in the admin and share access easily
  • Set up your own filters for files to match your business
  • Easy to search asset library
  • Beautifully designed and simple to use interface
  • Can be configured to provide reporting via user and asset file
  • Available in multi language options

Developing this system reduced the amount of time the Marketing department had to spend managing requests for assets from their hotel networks. It also enabled brand managers to create commercial toolkits for individual hotel chains in other international markets.

Technical Details

Process

  1. User navigates to the site
  2. User can either search for;
    • Brand elements such as logo, colours, typography and stock imagery guidelines
    • Brand toolkits, cheat sheets and playbooks
    • Commercial guidelines, templates and spreadsheets
    • Marketing templates such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, postcards, menus etc.
  3. User then can see a thumbnail of their selection and add it to their basket.
  4. Once the user has finished adding images to their basket, they can download them all as a single zip file. If the user has not already logged in, they are prompted to do so before they can download the file.

Downloaded folders will typically include:

  1. A PDF file of the asset
  2. Packaged artwork with open files – for example; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Word or PowerPoint
  3. Generic image options (where applicable)
  4. A Word document containing instructions, suggested messaging (if available) and printer specifications.

Following on from the success of this project, Kespoke created a white label digital asset management system – SimpleBAMS, visit our demo site here: https://simplebams.co.uk/.

We really like a happy client!

"Thank you for your hard work on this one! I really appreciate that you led the project and thoughtfully left me out of the tech details. I know it was frustrating and required quite a lot of follow ups, which is why I appreciate your perseverance even more. I’m glad we can cross this one off"
